As we adapt to the restoration of our sovereignty, the opportunities and minor irritations resulting from Brexit continue to emerge.  Purchasers of French property who are not resident in France must appoint a représentant fiscal on the sale of French ‘real estate’.  The exemption of EU citizens from this requirement no longer applies to British nationals.
